In October 2021, both Emperor Foundation and Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation received Certificate of Appreciation from the Social Welfare Department for actively promoting volunteer work.

Since 1998, Social Welfare Department (SWD) has been promoting the "Volunteer Movement" for more than 20 years. Nowadays, the development of volunteering has become quite mature and popular, and the mode of volunteering is becoming more and more innovative and diversified. To avoid duplication with other organizations and to optimize the use of social resources, SWD has decided to retire the Volunteer Movement by the end of this year.

Established in 1997 and 2008 respectively, Emperor Foundation and Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation have organized various activities to motivate Emperor Group’s staff and artists to reach out to the disadvantaged groups in need and provide direct financial support to various third-party charitable projects. In particular, Emperor Foundation puts great effort on education by setting up "Emperor Foundation Scholarship" for 12 registered universities in Hong Kong and elementary school in Mainland China, and donating to various education funds in Mainland China as well; Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation focuses on the development of hospice services for the elderly and has sponsored the construction of 10 elderly caring centres and 1 Child Care Centre, providing approximately 3000 beds in total.
