Emperor Group is firmly rooted in Hong Kong, its diversified businesses cover and touch all aspects of life. By accompanying the growth of Hong Kong people, it has witnessed their precious moments in many stages of life such as dating, tie-the-knot, and career promotion. To celebrate our 80th Anniversary this year, we are pleased to join hands with a local cultural enterprise - Walk in Hong Kong, to present a virtual charity tour formed by traces including the footprint of the Group and Hong Kong’s cultural history, a conjoined of our major milestones and celebratory moments in life. The tour will be streamed live online, filled with collective memories and local historical stories through the help of visual and sound narration, as well as selected artifacts. The 80 years journey of Emperor Group will be discovered and brought back to life by this span-new concept through the celebration walk that we hope you will join us!

 

The tour is open to the public, besides, we cooperate with Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service and The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council for an elderly session, inviting older and frail people, even those with difficulty in ambulation, to experience the old beautiful Hong Kong at premiere vision brought by the convenience of technology.

The virtual tour for the public will be held at 11 am on 29 October (Saturday) and the duration will be 1.5 hours. Emperor Entertainment’s artistes Mr. Hins Cheung and Ms. Kathy Yuen will be joining us as special guests. Registration is now open and it is on a first-come-first-served basis, come join us!

Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service was established in 1977. We follow the commandment of “love thy neighbour as thyself” to serve the society, promote care and justice as we serve God by sharing His love. We now have over 50 service units and 1200 employees. Our services cover a wide spectrum of society, including Nursery, Foster Care, Children and Family Service, Youth Service Centres, School Social Work, Counselling Service, Community Centres, Community Development, Elder Centres, Elderly Homes and Day Care Centres, Rehabilitation. Recently, we have expanded our service to transitional housing and ethnic minorities.

The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, founded in 1968, is one of the 10 largest registered non-government organization (NGO) according to annual subventions by Social Welfare Department. Adhering the Council’s founding spirit “Help Our Neighbour, Serve Our Community”, we strive to serve the underprivileged groups in the society and offer them the most appropriate integrated services including family and child welfare service, youth service, elderly service, rehabilitation service, community development, education service, health care service, social enterprise and mainland service. The Council currently operates over 80 service units throughout the territory and served over 176 million person-time in last year. In addition, the Council operates several non-subvented service units including elderly centres, hostel for people with disabilities, singleton hostel and Chinese medicine services.
