Senior System Engineer / System Engineer (Retail Focus)

Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in implementing new system projects, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements, ensuring clarity and understanding of project objectives.
- Provide technical solutions based on user requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Oversee the installation of new systems including POS, Kiosks, Handheld and Payment Device etc., ensuring proper configuration and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of systems post-installation and migration to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Offer ongoing support for existing systems with external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions to maintain system integrity and performance. Onsite support is required
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Management or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of experience in system implementation, solution design and system support
- Solid experience on retails applications such as POS, Kiosks, Handheld, Payment Device and e-commerce
- Familiar in retail store infrastructure and network
- Experience in managing vendor(s) along the application and hardware support
- Experience in API integration, Python, HTML5, in an added advantage.
- Working experience in cinema business is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Good command in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
