Dr. Albert Yeung Sau Shing, Chairman of Emperor Group, has once again been elected to be one of the "Top 10 Philanthropists" and entered the "China's Charity Chart 2010". This is the second charity award Dr. Yeung has received this year, after winning the "China Charity Award – The Most Caring Individual Donor Award" earlier on 9th of April.
The ceremony took place today at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Vice Chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhou Tienong and Gu Xiulian presented awards to award winners. The "Top 10 Philanthropists" was organised by the China Association of Social Workers and co-organised by Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, Central Committee for Comprehensive Management of Public Security, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, All-China Women's Federation, etc.
Dr. Yeung's first recognition from this ceremony was the "Special Charity Award" in 2007. He was first elected to be one of the "Top 10 Philanthropists" and entered the "China's Charity Chart" last year.
