(28 April 2013, Hong Kong) Dr. Albert Yeung Sau Shing, Chairman of Emperor Group, listee of "Top 10 Philanthropists" and "China's Charity Chart" this year, was represented by his son Mr. Alex Yeung at the award presentation ceremony held in Water Cube (Beijing National Aquatics Centre) on April 27 due to his unavailability.
Mr. Alex Yeung, Corporate Executive of Emperor Group, was accompanied by EEG artistes Ms. Charlene Choi and Ms. Gillian Chung, who were also elected “Philanthropic Artistes of the Year”. He has inherited from his father a sense of philanthropy and enthusiasm to charity works.
Dr. Yeung has been the winner of these 2 recognitions for 5 consecutive years since 2009. Earlier this month, he has just been awarded the "China Charity Award - The Most Caring Individual Donor Award", another honour in this category.
The "China's Charity Chart" was co-organised by China Association of Social Workers and China Philanthropy Times under the supervision of Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. All nominations have been scrutinized with public participations in the form of voting both by professionals and the general public.
