Dr. Albert Yeung Donated RMB3 million To Help Families of the Sacrificed Fire Crews in the Tianjin Explosions

(Hong Kong, August 16, 2015) The Tianjin explosions, occurred on August 12, 2015, caused serious casualties, including many of the firefighters who made their respectable sacrifice. To deliver deep condolence, Dr. Albert Yeung, Chairman of Emperor Group, donated RMB3 million through "Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation", offering assistance to families of the heroic fire crews, especially to the young children who lost their fathers in this tragedy. Dr. Yeung also expressed his sorrow to the incident, extended his respect and profound sympathy to the fire crews and wished all victims as well as Tianjin city would soon overcome from this incident with strength and hope.

 

Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation, founded in 2008, was dedicated to supporting disaster relief and elderly care in Mainland China, as well as non-profit activities related to sports, education and culture. The Foundation donated to support the relief work in earthquake in Yushu County, Qinghai Province in 2010 as well as in Lushan earthquake in 2013. The Foundation also established "Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation (Shunping) Elderly Care Centre", "Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation (Xiongzhou) Elderly Care Centre" and "Albert Yeung Sau Shing (Shunping, China) Elderly Service Centre", all in Hebei province, to provide accommodation and hospice care services to the aged. The latest project "Albert Yeung Sau Shing (Changli, China) Elderly Service Centre" will soon be completed and put into service by the end of 2015.
