Emperor Cinemas in NOVA Foshan opened on 30 May as the group’s first branch in Foshan while it is also the 4th cinemas under the group in Guangdong province. It located at the Chancheng district in Foshan city centre. The cinema has a gross floor area of 3733 sq.m. with 6 deluxe houses and a premier VIP house providing 1053 seats. They equipped with renowned BARCO laser screening technology and JBL sound system for bringing cinephiles an immersive yet incredible screening experience.
Mr. Timothy Yuen, the general manager of Emperor Cinemas Group, and Mr. Bill Lee, the general manager of Emperor Cinemas (China), hosted the grand opening ceremony in company with Mr. Chen, the shop manager of the branch, in a traditional Chinese Southern Lion Dance that originated from Foshan, Guangdong. “Cai Qing” (an action that the lion pluck green vegetables hung in high place) means to bring fortune to the business and also lift the curtain to show the high-end qulity and services of the cinemas to massive customers.
The cinemas is located in the city's cultural and popular landmark that is surrounding by numoerous 4As tourist attrations of China and historic antique buildings like “Foshan Ancestral Temple” and "Xiatiandi”.
