‘Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2022’ organized by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency was held at Island Shangri-La Hotel on Hong Kong Island recently. Emperor International Holdings Limited is presented with the ‘Pioneering Organization in ESG Disclosure Enhancement’ and ‘Outstanding Award for Green and Sustainable Loan Issuer (Real Estate Industry) - Visionary Green Loan Framework’, showcasing Emperor International's achievements in environmental and social sustainability.
"Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2022" aims to encourage organizations to promote green and sustainable finance, carbon neutrality, climate risk disclosure and ESG disclosure for the sustainable development of businesses and society, and commend their efforts and contributions.
The Central Government emphasizes on achieving sustainable development goals and actively promoting green economy and social development as well as Hong Kong SAR Government has commitment to developing Hong Kong as a green and sustainable financial hub in the region. In response to that, Emperor International has not only introduced cloud technology management to its property projects in recent years, but also actively increased the green area ratio and adopted environmentally friendly and energy-saving materials and equipment to improve its carbon emission performance. This award demonstrates that Emperor International's objectives and ESG strategy framework are well supported and recognized by banks and the industry.
