Mr. Donald Cheung, Director of Emperor Property participated in a large-scale walkathon named "The Long March for Education", which was organized by the Sowers Action for the sake of fundamental education development in the western regions of Mainland China.
Mr. Cheung said that he had experienced hardships on the way, especially while passing through the regions with altitude over four-thousand meters height, whereas he was most delighted in seeing the increasing number of children in the poor regions receiving education.
Mr. Cheung further also said that although people in the region lived in poverty, they gave a warm welcome when receiving the team members, which made him deeply touched.
Ms. Yumiko Cheng, the singer from Emperor Entertainment Group was named as "Long March for Education Ambassador", who gave her full support to the walkathon.
