Emperor Foundation has always cared about the community and actively participated in volunteer programs for the elderly. Joining hands with Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service, LC-HKS, the Foundation invited 30 elderly for the “Full Moon Fun Tram Ride” event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. EEG artiste Kathy Yuen, along with Emperor Group volunteers, had a great time with the elderly, not only did they enjoy a traditional feast and ride a nostalgic tram, but also gave out festive gift bags and spent a meaningful night together.

Departing from Tuen Mun District, the elderly first visited the historical Luk Yu Tea House to enjoy traditional gourmet, then headed to Whitty Street to ride a nostalgic tram and take a tour around Hong Kong Island, appreciating the superb scenery and moonlight along the way. After boarding, Kathy interacted and engaged the elderly in group games and photos taking under a harmonious atmosphere. Kathy said, “Mid-Autumn Festival is the best occasion for reunion. Realizing that some elderly might not be able to celebrate the festival with their families, I hope everyone can enjoy the festive atmosphere and share those unforgettable moments tonight!”
