The Emperor Group donated a total of R 14.35 million RMB to the Henan Charity Federation through the Emperor Charity Fund to support the flood prevention and disaster relief work currently being performed in Henan Province. The Emperor Group artists have responded and worked together to support the victims and rescuers in Henan Province. Donations are primarily being used to ensure the personal safety of the local people, purchase disaster relief materials, and spare no effort to help the government and all sectors of society in fighting the floods and damage done by this disaster. Their goal is to offer timely help to those compatriots adversely affected by this catastrophe with the hope that they can safely return to their normal lives soon.

Speaking on the huge floods caused by the extreme rains that recently fell in Henan Province, Dr. Albert Yeung, the Chairman of the Emperor Group, said, “The heavy rains and floods have brought casualties to the local area, and people’s homes have been destroyed. Even some nursing homes have had to shut down their oxygen inhalers due to power outages, and many elderly people who live alone have been trapped by these floods. The Emperor Group’s intention is to contribute to helping local people overcome these difficulties through donations, and it is grateful to the frontline rescue teams who saved victims day and night. May everyone be safe as we look forward to a rapid recovery."
