More than 20 years ago, we have launched the elderly care service in Mainland China. We have made a number of grants for the construction of elderly centres in Hubei, Hebei, Jiangsu, Guangxi and Hong Kong to provide hospice services for the underprivileged elderly.” Looking forward to the future, he also said: "We will remain true to our original intention, continue to carry forward the spirit of charity, and give back to the society. At the same time, my son Alex Yeung, the Executive Director of mperor Group, will join hands with me to encourage more young people to participate in social services, to develop more positive values that guide their behavior, and make contribution to the society.”

“The China’s Charity Chart Award” is organised by the news medium “China Philanthropy Times” which established since 2004 by China Federation of Social Work and operated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. Leading the sustainable development of elderly care services

Dr. Albert Yeung first engaged in charitable works in the 70s. In 1997 and 2008, he established Emperor Foundation and Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation respectively. He currently has ten nursing homes for elders under his name, providing a total of more than 3,000 beds with shelter and nursing services for local elderly groups in need of government assistance such as economic difficulties, disability and dementia. The senior centers located in Shunping, Xiongzhou and Changli in Hebei Province have successively passed the evaluation of three-star and two-star elderly care demonstration institutions by the Hebei Provincial Department of Civil Affairs in recent years. In addition, Dr. Yeung has one child care centre located in Hebei Province which is also under his name.

Pay attention to the underprivileged family and cultivate talents

The Foundation established the “Emperor Foundation Scholarship” early in 90s which subjects to final-year undergraduates of twelve registered tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and primary school in Mainland China as an encouragement to students with excellent academic results or underprivileged family background. The Foundation has also made donations to other education funds in the Mainland China. As a philanthropic role model for Mr. Alex Yeung, his son and currently the Executive Director of Emperor Group, Mr. Yeung has launched the "ALL AS ONE Co-living Scheme", providing temporary housing to family having an urgent need for housing or having queued for Public Rental Housing for no less than 3 years. He also led the group volunteers to spray antibacterial coatings for the households and delivered anti-epidemic materials.

Together to fight against pandemic

Under the charitable influence of Dr. Yeung, the employees and artists of Emperor Group have devoted themselves to the public welfare as much as possible. A volunteer team was formed every year to visit the elderly care centre for the elderly. In 2020, in the face of the outbreak of the epidemic, Emperor Group announced in January 2020 that it would donate a total of RMB 10 million and medical protective materials through the Emperor Foundation to support the emergency epidemic prevention work in Hubei Province and Hong Kong, and to provide donations to employees across the country.
