Emperor Group was rewarded the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” organised by the Mirror Post of Hong Kong, as recognition of the Group’s efforts and contributions in executing and promoting corporate social responsibility for consecutive years. The ceremony was held on Dec 2, 2021 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Mr. Leung Chun-ying GBM GBS JP, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference made an inaugural speech. At the same time, more than 400 people including well-known entrepreneurs, experts, scholars, media and social talents were invited for the awards presentation.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Awards evaluation process for entries is based on seven judging criteria: leadership, social connection, customer commitment, shareholder commitment, employee care, environmental protection and industry uniqueness. The reward aims to establish a communication platform for participating enterprises to learn from each other, implement corporate social responsibilities of environment, society and governance, enhance its brand value and image in line with the marketing environment of the 21st century to achieve simultaneous development of enterprises and society, reaching a win-win result in social harmony, environmental protection and sustainable development.
Emperor Group, Emperor Foundation as well as Albert Yeung Sau Shing Charity Foundation have been recognized for the long-holding commitment to promoting a sustainable society and close attention to underprivileged groups. In the future, the Group and its two charity foundations will continue to adhere to the philosophic spirit. Undoubtedly, the Group will further strengthen its work direction in escalating the ESG value in the progress of innovation.
