Michelle Wai and Bryant Mak supported SPHC Hike for Hospice 2017

The annual fund raising event “Hike for Hospice” of Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care (SPHC) took place on February 26th, 2017 (Sunday) at Tai Lam Country Park, Yuen Long. The event has got tremendous support from the business sectors, organizations and social communities since its establishment in 1992. For the past 25 years, SPHC has been dedicated to promoting the development of hospice care services, offer life and death education programmes to local communities, and deliver positive values of life to the general public and beyond. Emperor Motion Pictures (EMP) has always spared no effort to charity. This year, in support of the platinum sponsorship of Emperor Foundation, its artistes Michelle Wai and Bryant Mak attended the kick-off ceremony and cheered for all the hikers.

 

The kick-off ceremony was officiated by Ms. Semon Luk, Chairperson of Emperor International Holdings Limited; Mr. John Tsang Chun-wah, GBM, JP; Dr. Leong Che-hung, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, Honorary President of SPHC; Mr. Raymond Wong, MBE, Chairman of the SPHC’s Executive Committee; Mr. Edward Naylor, Chairman of the Hike for Hospice Organizing Committee; EMP artistes Michelle Wai and Bryant Mak.

 

Hundreds of hikers gathered early in the morning at Tai Lam Country Park, ready for the start of charity event. After one and a half hour of hike, the contesters completed the fund-raising route and enjoyed their lunch in the beautiful nature.
